Amanda Rae Shows, 31, passed away on April 22, 2026. She was born on July 8, 1994, in Gulfport, Mississippi, to Shannon Shows and Raymond Shows. Amanda was a bright, beautiful, and unforgettable soul whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and light into the lives of all who knew her.

Raised in Gulfport, Amanda lived her life with a vibrant and loving spirit. She was known for her intelligence, quick wit, and radiant smile that could brighten any room. Her personality was full of energy and authenticity, and she had a natural ability to make others feel seen, valued, and cared for.

Amanda found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved good food shared with family and friends, time spent in the water, and especially dancing—something that reflected her passion and spirit. Her dance classes were a special place for her, where her talent, dedication, and love for movement truly came alive. Through dance, she expressed herself in a way that inspired those around her.

She will be remembered for her loving heart, her laughter, and the countless memories she created with those closest to her. Amanda had a gift for connection and a deep capacity to love, leaving a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Amanda is preceded in death by her grandparents, R.B. Galloway, Marjorie Galloway, Virginia Babbs, and Lonnie Shows. She is survived by her mother, Shannon Shows; her father, Raymond Shows; her sister, Stephanie Shows; her daughter, Kassidy Nicole Pittman; and Merritt James Cuevas; as well as her nieces, Jessica Leeann Maldonado, Madyson Leticia Maldonado, and Raelynn Marie Maldonado, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Amanda Rae Shows will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the joy she shared and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
