Over the course of his distinguished career, he served both the state and St. Helena Parish in numerous capacities, always answering the call to serve with dedication and integrity. The St. Helena Parish Sheriff’s Office was fortunate to have him join its ranks, where his leadership and commitment quickly made a lasting impact.
He was a man who led by example. Whenever there was a need within the community, Major Coleman was among the first to step forward, offering his time, guidance, and support. His love for St. Helena Parish was evident in all he did—from his involvement on various boards and commissions to his tireless efforts working alongside the litter team to preserve the beauty of the parish he held dear. He continually sought growth, pursuing training and professional development to better serve his community and colleagues.
Major Coleman took immense pride in his work and in the relationships he built along the way. He was not only an exceptional officer but also a trusted leader, respected colleague, and valued friend.
