It is with profound sadness that Maureen Horne, Lucy Horne, and family share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Timothy Horne. Timothy passed away peacefully in his sleep at approximately 9:00 a.m. yesterday morning, while in the compassionate care of the dedicated staff at Oulton Park Care Centre – Barchester Healthcare.
His passing follows a courageous and difficult journey after receiving a devastating diagnosis of a brain tumour last December. Throughout his illness, Timothy faced each stage with quiet strength, dignity, and grace, supported closely by his loved ones and the exceptional care team who ensured his comfort and wellbeing.
Timothy will be remembered as a deeply cherished husband, father, relative, and friend. His presence brought warmth and stability to those around him, and his kindness left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether through his gentle nature, his sense of humor, or his unwavering love for his family, Timothy’s legacy is one of compassion and quiet strength.
