Westly “Wes” Michael Wilson Brookfield, CT Death-Obituary: Brookfield High School Graduate Wes Wilson Dies Unexpectedly at 21

Westly “Wes” Michael Wilson, 21, passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2026, leaving behind a profound sense of loss among family, friends, and all who knew him. Born on March 13, 2005, to Amanda and Michael Wilson, Wes grew into a young man known for his warmth, energy, and genuine love for life.

A 2023 graduate of Brookfield High School, Wes was building his future while working for the City of Marceline. He took pride in his work and approached life with a steady determination and curiosity. Outside of work, Wes found his greatest joy in the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, or simply spending time in nature, he embraced every opportunity to be outside. He also had a passion for working on cars, always eager to learn, fix, and improve anything with an engine.

Wes will be remembered most for his infectious smile and easygoing nature. He had a way of lifting spirits and bringing people together, always ready with laughter and a good time. His presence made ordinary moments feel meaningful, and his absence will be deeply felt by those who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his father, Michael Wilson; his brother, Kadan Wilson (Ashlyn); his sister, Faith Wilson (Austin); his beloved niece, Oaklynn Fay; his uncle, Brandon Sackrey (Abby); his aunt, Casey Sackrey (Darren); and his cousins, Brylynn, Mya, Hadlye, Taytum, Finley Sackrey, and Carter Fox. He was preceded in death by his mother, Amanda Wilson, and his cousin, Vann Duncan.
