With profound sorrow and broken hearts, we announce the passing of Hailey Mae Miley, age 8 months, who died on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Beloit Memorial Hospital. Though her time on earth was brief, her presence brought immeasurable joy, light, and love to all who had the privilege of knowing and cherishing her.
Hailey was born on August 1, 2025, in Janesville, Wisconsin, to Kirsten York and Ryan Miley. From the very beginning, she was a precious gift whose smile could brighten any room and whose laughter filled her home with warmth. She was known for her sweet nature, her love of cuddles, and her growing curiosity about the world around her.
In her short life, Hailey delighted in the simple and beautiful moments of childhood. She adored her big sisters, Aubrey Miley and Thea Miley, often watching them dance and play. She followed her beloved family dogs throughout the home, enjoyed family bike rides, and was beginning to explore new foods and sounds. She was just starting to say cherished words such as “Mama,” “Dada,” and “Papa,” each one a treasured memory for her family. Sundays were especially joyful as she would raise her hands in excitement while cheering on the Chicago Bears with her family.
Hailey is survived by her loving parents; her sisters; her maternal grandfather, Will York; her paternal grandparents, Melissa (Brian) Rozell and Adam (Roberta) Miley; great-grandparents Monty (Nancy) Hardt, Robert York, and Pamie Stalder; aunts Kaity (Izic Cheney) York, Cassandra Miley, Amber Lee, and Ashley Lee; uncle Terry (Caitlin) Lee; and many extended family members who adored her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Megan York; great-grandparents Dottie York, Shirley Loveland, and James Myers; and great-great grandmother Marian Speiss.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home, Beloit, Wisconsin, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery in Walworth, Wisconsin.
Hailey Mae Miley will forever be remembered, endlessly loved, and held in the hearts of all who were blessed by her brief but beautiful life.
